Environmental Policy  Introduction: Domestic-Air Ltd recognises that our activities contribute to greenhouse gas emissions from energy use, waste procurement, travel, and other services. In alignment with the UK Climate Act (2008), which commits the UK to an 80% reduction of carbon emissions on 1990 levels by 2050, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact.  Our Objectives: Develop a systematic, auditable Carbon Management Plan, publicly available by early 2025. Monitor, review, and report annually on the Carbon Management Plan. Ensure continual compliance with energy-related legislation, requirements, and corporate commitments. Ensure any new development contributes to the sustainable energy strategy. Implement a programme of improvements to building fabric, services, and controls to maximise energy efficiency. Regularly monitor and review energy consumption against our reduction targets. Allocate necessary resources to achieve these goals, cost-effectively managing emissions from waste, water, transport, products, and services via our Environmental Management System. Develop behaviour change programmes to promote an energy-aware culture. Communicate progress regularly.  Our Achievements to Date: In January 2021, Domestic-Air Ltd became 100% paperless. All fleet vehicles meet the Euro 6 Emissions Standard, ensuring no vehicle exceeds 80mg/km of NOx gases. Committed to recycling waste, including all cardboard and plastics. Encouraging all office staff to work from home, reducing personal vehicle emissions.  Our Responsibility: The responsibility for continual improvement in the management and reduction of energy consumption and carbon emissions lies with our Managing Director and all staff. The Managing Director is responsible for keeping the company informed about energy consumption and carbon emission issues, such as the publication of relevant advice or reports.  The Managing Director formulates appropriate plans to meet our company’s energy consumption and carbon emission objectives. All senior management members are responsible for ensuring the objectives and action plans applicable to their areas are followed appropriately. Managers must maintain awareness of good practice in their areas of operations and ensure these are followed. They will be assisted by all staff reporting to them. All staff are encouraged to support Domestic-Air Ltd’s objectives of continual improvement in our overall Carbon Management objectives.  Date: 19th July 2024  Next Revision Date: 18th July 2025
